Step 1 – Your Quote
When you request a free, no-obligation quote, we will contact you within 2-3 working days and organise a time to come out to your home. During this initial visit, we will discuss with you what you are looking for and will recommend a fire based on your preferences and needs. You will then receive a quote with the cost of your fire and installation. Your quote will also outline any added additional requirements to ensure your installation runs smoothly.
Step 2 – Invoice and Deposit
Upon choosing to move forward with the installation, we will send you your invoice. We require a 50% deposit before the process continues, with the remaining 50% payable on the completion of the fire installation. Once you have paid the deposit, we will email you a copy of your part paid invoice. Following this, the necessary paperwork will be completed by us and passed on to your respective Council.
Step 3 – Installation
We will then contact you to organise a date for the installation and go through any other changes or additions you may need to make, such as adding an extra smoke alarm. Finally, we will contact you one week prior to your installation date to check everything over.
Step 4 – Council Consent
After the fire is installed, we then give you the information for you to pass on to the Council to get your fire consented. Your fire can not be used until this has happened. Finally, about 15 days after the fire passes its inspection, the Council will issue a code of compliance certificate verifying your fire is safe to use.
