This helps protect the umbrella when it is closed. (The umbrellas come with a basic cover included but these covers are a premium cover).

This cover features a small internal fibreglass rod/pole that is sewn into the cover next to the zipper.

This allows you to push the cover up over the top of the closed umbrella canopy from the ground, without needing a ladder or reaching high up.
